Last Boat Ride of the Season

Welp, the end is here.

Don't get me wrong, I"m all about getting the fuck out of 2020 and moving on.

But I do love summer.

Who doesn't?

The Weather.

The Sun.

The Lake.

But it needs to come to an end.

And we got invited for one last day on the boat.

And even though the weather wasn't great, we had a GREAT time. It was supposed to be mid 70's and sunny.

Who's this hunk?

The girls made friends with the duck.

It was decent right when we got on the water...then...

It turned into like 64, cloudy and then rainy.

But.

BUT, rain doesn't matter all that much when you have friends who live on the lake.

So we parked the boat and hung out at their place instead.

He's our friend with the boat. Not the friend with the lake house though. That's his boat in the garage. The friend who owns this house is planning to make this and the garage next to it living space. Since his boat is too big to fit.

Thankfully it cleared up enough to take some of the boys out to wake board.

What a sweet pic of these two. Dad giving his son a thumbs up!

I'm telling you, people.

We are 100% boat people.

I loved every second of it.

I packed efficiently and had enough snacks and drinks.

The kids had fun.

Our friends also have a trampoline in the water in front of (or behind?) the house. The kids freaking LOVED it.

It was a great time. We hung out for a while and I ended up leaving Steve there. He got a ride home. I got home with the girls around 9:30pm and they went straight to bed.

I watched the last of Cobra Kai and went to bed.

Goodbye Summer.

Til next year.
