Seedlings update

Seedlings update (again)

I've been checking on my seedlings about once a day and yesterday, took some time to clean up my area, moved some sprouted plants to larger pots, and planted some new seeds.

My area was getting a little messy and out of control...

Some of these guys needed to be transferred. The ones in the middle are eggplant.

And I've cleaned up and moved some plants to larger pots. I also planted more seeds. Ava helped and planted carrots and corn. I planted more cucumbers, cauliflower, eggplant and bell pepper. Not all of the seeds sprouted in the first batch, so trying again.

My cucumbers doing are doing great!

Eggplant!

I'm not sure what these little guys are. After I labeled my seeds/plants, I got lazy and the next batch didn't get labeled. Oops. I guess we'll find out at harvest time!

Moved my cucumbers down to the little pool with the other "big guys" to make room for more seedlings under the light.

I think I have about 60 plants that are doing well and will likely be strong enough to survive the transfer outside when the time is right. It still gets very cold at night so I'm not going to risk it.

I have another 20 or so that are newly planted, so we'll see what happens with them!

I also plan to buy some plants when they become available. Steve and I will be marking where the garden will go and also buy some stakes to put into the ground. I'm so excited and cannot wait!
