Up until this point, we had not introduced the baby chicks to Bella. Not for any particular reason, but she's not a fan of the basement stairs...and she'd have to navigate those to get to the babies.
But, last night I decided to bring her down with me (I carried her - those basement steps are scary!) and I plopped her down right in front of them.
She was interested from this standpoint.
Here's where it got weird. I picked up a chick and put it in front of her face. No reaction. Then I put it right up to her nose. Barely a reaction. I did it again and she finally seemed to notice and she bit at it! LOL. She didn't make contact and it didn't seem "mean" in anyway.
I'm not quite sure what's up with her though. She didn't seem to notice the chick in front of her face, but was definitely interested in them when they were in the bin!
Seriously - she didn't really do much. MR would legit gulp one down without even tasting it.
