Valais Blacknose Sheep

Considering the fact that I never thought I'd live in a rural area, I had no idea the differences in sheep breeds. Just like any other animal, there are different breeds in and around different regions.

So when researching different farm animals that may or may not be suited for our farm, I came across these guys. I've never seen anything so cute, I may just have to find a breeder and do a little more research.

Are. You. Freaking. Kidding. Me.

I want two. Or three. I just can't even with how cute these guys are.

As we think about our barn and the animals we want, our barn seems to be getting larger and larger. We had originally wanted to have a pair of dwarf goats and maybe a mini donkey or mini horse. But, as it turns out, that pair of donkeys the girls met the other day - their owner is actually serious about giving them to us. They are full sized donkeys! So...I'm thinking our pasture will need to be expanded and we'll likely need a barn that is 20ft x 30ft.

Just gotta get this pool deck built....oh, and like $15,000 LOL.
