I recently posted about my work/home life situation.
Mila had been sick for 5 solid days with a high fever.
Things went back to normal.
Ava broke out in a full-body rash about week later.
We attributed it to allergies.
She's allergic to everything, right?
We did all the normal tricks.
Hydrocortisone cream on problem areas.
Aquaphor all over top right after.
Zipped up into jammies.
Daily Zyrtec and Benadryl for really bad itchy spells.
Only after 4-5 days, it wasn't really letting up.
Steve took her to our allergist (my work hasn't really let up at all yet so I couldn't go with them).
The doctor thought it could be viral.
No shit.
She could not go back to school Thursday or Friday, due to the full-body rash and just overall being super itchy.
Steve was home with her the beginning of the week.
I ended up working from home the end of the week since she couldn't go back to school. Normally, working from home is pretty cool. I like it.
I get a LOT done.
But, that's when it's just me. Alone. Not caring for a sick child.
And being slammed at work.
Sigh.
But, after some Prednisone and a new topical cream, she seems to be on the mend.
And I'm back in the office.
