Chicken headbands

I shit you not.

I have seen chickens wearing sweaters.

I have seen chickens wearing pants.

I have NOT seen chickens wearing headbands...

Until today.

No freaking shit.

Let me tell you how it happened.

We have a new intern at work.

She's lovely.

She noticed I had a webpage of chickens up when we sat down for our status meeting this morning.

She commented on liking the chickens.

It happened to be on a page for White Crested Black Polishes.

She mentioned that her mom had chickens that had hair like these.

Then she told me her mom made the chickens headbands.

And the chickens wore them.

To keep the feathers out of their eyes.

I'm dying. 

I'm dead.

So ridiculous. Yet so...functional. 

The sign above them at the store stated that they are vulnerable due to not being able to see well. 

So, this could solve the problem, yes?
