Monday was another long day, followed by a client dinner.
Very cool to see what's new and upcoming. Lots of new flavors of classic favorites. |
This booth was directly across from one of my clients. Needless to say I picked up a few things. |
After another long day manning the two booths and playing nice with all the people, it was time to get ready for dinner.
My client really wanted to try Hell's Kitchen, but when I called to make reservations, the earliest was November 3 or something. Oops.
We decided that we'd get ready and maybe walk over and see what was going on and maybe we'd get lucky with a table.
This has been my favorite go-to outfit for casual/cute outings. |
And we did! We walked in and there were a few open seats at the bar. Luckily we walked in when we did, as 10 minutes after we sat down, there was a line out the door!
Red kitchen vs Blue kitchen |
Of course we had to try the lobster risotto |
and the pan seared scallops |
of course the beef wellington |
And finally, the sticky toffee pudding. |
It was all amazingly delicious. |
And then the most ridiculous thing happened. Only in Vegas, right?
While we were walking back to the hotel after dinner, we got stopped. Pulled to the side by these two guys who are in the Magic Mike show (😂). We introduced ourselves and wouldn't you know it, but the blonde guy is from the town NEXT TO MINE. WHATTT.
He moved to Las Vegas 2 years ago. So he's like 20.
Which means...I could be his mom.
Jesus Christ, people.
ANYWAY.
