Working Out - 116 Weeks Into My Fitness Journey

Welp, we've made it another 4 weeks.

And with a bit more pep in my step if I do say so myself.

You see, vacation is 9 days.

Time to tighten her up.

I captioned this "Post workout glow. Or 100% humidity."

It's so much harder than you think to grow yer ass.

Considering a tummy tuck to remove the saggy skin. But, I know it's not bad, so I'm likely NOT going to ever do it. If I did, i'td be a "mini" tummy tuck.

I'm holding steady at around 115.4 - 116.8lbs the last week or so.

I'm working my core a lot more, and I try to do legs/glutes/lower body twice a week.

1000 Islands Vacation Day 4 - Leaving, But First! Go Karts and Arcade!

We woke up to a dreary and cloudy day. We knew rain was coming.

And just like any "last day", as soon as we got up, we got to packing up all our shit.

We also did promise the kiddos we'd make it to the go kart place and arcade on the way home, since it was on the way.

We made it in time to do a few laps before it started to DOWNPOUR!

We stopped at a diner for a late breakfast before getting on the road.

And that's it!

It was pretty perfect.

And I'm so glad I got the chance to have a perfect vacation.

1000 Islands Vacation Day 3 - Second and Last Full Day

We had another GLORIOUS day for our second and final full day here in the Islands.

It was going to be a hot one, so we were very excited for a great day on the water.

Mila wanted to go for a paddle board ride

Me and Trista enjoying our coffee in the morning. This was 8:30am and it was HOT.

We needed to go get gas for the boat.

View of the condo from the gas station

After we got back from getting gas, we all got on the boats and headed out for some tubing and jet skiing.

Of course I forget my phone (sitting in the hot sun, of course) so I don't have any pics. But luckily my friends captured some.

All the kids went tubing and freaking loved it.

Rich and his boy

Andy towed the tube for the kids while Rich did wake boarding and water skiing from his boat. Our boat was anchored with the Lily Pad so we could have a "home base" to chill out.

And then us moms got to go.

And this ASS shot is the only one the guys got. Seriously?

This thing is a ton of fun! It was really nice having two boats and this toy - lots of different things we could do and plenty of room for everyone.

We spent a few hours here doing all the things. Steve drove Rich's boat to give him a chance to wake board and water ski since he rarely gets the chance (needs someone to drive the boat who knows how to drive the boat, lol)

We headed back to the condo to eat lunch - we did sandwiches, chips, fruit, and leftovers from dinner the night before.

We all chilled out for a bit before heading back out.

One of our favorite spots is Potter's Beach.

It's quite a hike from our condo (about 30 minute boat ride) but it's a sweet spot with these awesome rocks to jump off of.

I'm proud of my girls for having no fear and just jumping. I didn't have my phone on me to get any fun pics, but the big boys did manage to get the kids together for this pic.

L-R: Kenny, Jake, Mila, Ava, Chuck, Little Richard, Mark the Shark and Fister Frank (don't get me started on how he got his nickname 😂)

Potter's is great for finding sea shells, swimming and rock jumping. People watching is also pretty great. It's relatively shallow too, which is nice for all the kids.

Emmy and her boat naps.

Nothing like a boat nap after hours of playing

After a few hours there, we decided to head back and figure out what we wanted to do for dinner.

We passed by these HUGE ships and it's just incredible to boat next to something like that. Rich's boat looks freaking TINY. lol.

That's Rich's boat, lol. It looks TINY.

We decided to go out to dinner instead of cooking. Who wants to clean up after a full day of boating? Not us!

The kids' table and them ordering was the cutest thing ever.

My super sun-kissed kids.

This view. *Chef's kiss.

And just like that, it's over.

Last year we had additional day. And it rained.

We have to check out by 11am tomorrow. We promised the kids go carting and the bait shop. So we'll hit that up in the morning before heading home.

This was a perfect day and I'm so, so grateful.

1000 Islands Vacation Day 2: Friday at Eel Bay

I woke up at 6:30am Friday morning.

It was beautiful already.

I didn't want to waste any time.

The kids, passed out. I couldn't find Little Richard though.

I got my coffee, my pen and went and sat out on the balcony. It was sunny and gorgeous out.

Nothing like the quiet when everyone else is sleeping. My one friend, Andy was up. He owns a landscaping company, so he was up at like 3:30 lol.

The boys were up a bit later and got the mini boat out for some fun.

One of my favorite parts of the trip are these huge ships that go by.

We changed up a bit who was on whose boat. This is when I'm like "we need a bigger boat" because with the cooler filled with drinks and such, we really can only have 6-7 people on board. Our little 19' handled the river great despite its size though. Very proud of our little boat. It never gave us any issues this year.

A fun perspective because I'm always ON the boat!

My BFF's wife, Trista, who has become one of my BFFs.

Rich and his boy.

Eel Bay had a fun beach area for the kids. Which worked out great since we forgot the Lily Pad.

Literally my favorite thing in the world.

Lunch!

Rich and his boat grill 😂

#handsome

Mila tanning. Living her best life.

After several hours of amazing boating, we headed back and went grocery shopping. We decided to grill burgers and whatnot for dinner.

lol my friends are stupid.

A lot of fishing before and after dinner

Little Richard!

Andy's parents came up on their boat and hung out for a bit. It's so nice catching up with them. I've known Andy since I was 10.

Daddy and his girls 💕

Everyone walking into town for some shopping

After a bit of shopping, we all headed back and the adults enjoyed some fun while the kids enjoyed the downstairs watching a movie and/or tablets.

Andy AKA "Dad" lol. Sleeping.

You know this one was a winner.

Not a flattering pic, but it's like the only one I got of them during the game. #mytwoboys

This game is ridiculous and hilarious.

We made so many memories this night.

We enjoyed every second of this day.

One more full day!
