I still feel like someone's pranking me.
Like, OMG.
Top 100 Customers? HOW THE FUCK???
I'm not sure if I should be proud or ashamed.
I do go there a lot.
I do spend a lot of money there.
But shit.
Out of my entire town?
We came are #91 out of 100.
Hilarious.
But MAN.
DOES WEGMANS KNOW HOW TO MAKE CUSTOMERS FEEL GOOD.
Cute decor and the food was just LINED UP AND WAITING FOR US.
We got there late after having mom's home inspection at 1pm, Mila's parent/teacher conference at 4:30 (which started 10 minutes late - ugh), and then the Wegmans dinner started at 5pm.
So we walk in at 5:30 and we're greeted by several Wegmans staff with "oh there you are, we've been waiting for you!"
Um, what? I look around.
Us? You've been waiting for us?
Store manager comes out and shakes our hands and thanks us.
Front end manager comes out and shakes our hands and thanks us.
Then we are ushered to the food and bar.
First, apps. IT WAS ALL AMAZING. The fucking king crab.
For fuck's sake it was so good.
Look at his face, lol.
The main course. Prime Rib. Ham. Potatoes. I cheated and ate some pasta.
And of course. Dessert. I couldn't help myself.
So fucking good.
It doesn't end there! We enjoyed complimentary wine, too!
When we left, we were sent home with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.
And we also got a gift.
Gift card!
There are quite a few coupons (even some for FREE items) and recipes.
I'm still in shock.
We were treated like straight up royalty.
When we were walking out, the front end manager shook our hands and said "thank you so much, please let me know if there's anything I can do for you during the holidays, we appreciate you so much" and it's like WE BUY OUR FOOD HERE.
THIS IS A FUCKING GROCERY STORE.
This entire evening was fucking FREE.
And amazing.
And this is why they are successful and will continue to take all of my money.
We came in at #91.
