We had another GLORIOUS day for our second and final full day here in the Islands.
It was going to be a hot one, so we were very excited for a great day on the water.
Mila wanted to go for a paddle board ride |
Me and Trista enjoying our coffee in the morning. This was 8:30am and it was HOT. |
We needed to go get gas for the boat. |
View of the condo from the gas station |
After we got back from getting gas, we all got on the boats and headed out for some tubing and jet skiing.
Of course I forget my phone (sitting in the hot sun, of course) so I don't have any pics. But luckily my friends captured some.
All the kids went tubing and freaking loved it.
Rich and his boy |
Andy towed the tube for the kids while Rich did wake boarding and water skiing from his boat. Our boat was anchored with the Lily Pad so we could have a "home base" to chill out. |
And then us moms got to go.
And this ASS shot is the only one the guys got. Seriously?
This thing is a ton of fun! It was really nice having two boats and this toy - lots of different things we could do and plenty of room for everyone. |
We spent a few hours here doing all the things. Steve drove Rich's boat to give him a chance to wake board and water ski since he rarely gets the chance (needs someone to drive the boat who knows how to drive the boat, lol)
We headed back to the condo to eat lunch - we did sandwiches, chips, fruit, and leftovers from dinner the night before.
We all chilled out for a bit before heading back out.
One of our favorite spots is Potter's Beach.
It's quite a hike from our condo (about 30 minute boat ride) but it's a sweet spot with these awesome rocks to jump off of.
I'm proud of my girls for having no fear and just jumping. I didn't have my phone on me to get any fun pics, but the big boys did manage to get the kids together for this pic.
Emmy and her boat naps. |
After a few hours there, we decided to head back and figure out what we wanted to do for dinner.
We passed by these HUGE ships and it's just incredible to boat next to something like that. Rich's boat looks freaking TINY. lol.
That's Rich's boat, lol. It looks TINY. |
We decided to go out to dinner instead of cooking. Who wants to clean up after a full day of boating? Not us!
The kids' table and them ordering was the cutest thing ever. |
My super sun-kissed kids. |
This view. *Chef's kiss. |
And just like that, it's over.
Last year we had additional day. And it rained.
We have to check out by 11am tomorrow. We promised the kids go carting and the bait shop. So we'll hit that up in the morning before heading home.
This was a perfect day and I'm so, so grateful.
