Habitat Night!

Mila's school project was on display during Habitat Night at her school. Last night families got to tour the school and view all the different habitats! Mila's class had "Lions in the Savanna" so we started with her classroom.

This was another child's - lol. A bit morbid.

Jellyfish!

I love these types of events. They scheduled different classes for different times, so it wouldn't be too nutty in the hallways and I thought it was great! It was busy but not at all terrible. There was no real rules, just to follow your kid and have them show you all the different habitats. We bumped into some parents we recognized, so it was nice to chat a bit and get to know them a little better.

We ended up running into a REALLY old friend of ours, too! They moved to the district last year and didn't know we lived here! So we got to catch up and it was great! They live near by, have a 7 year old as well, and two babies! So we need to get them over here to play sometime. So funny to see how times have changed! We knew him since before Mila and now we have all these kids and we're these responsible adults! LOL. It still blows my mind sometimes.
