Weekend fun

With only a few weeks left of summer, we're really trying to enjoy any time we have off from work. We're trying not to be lazy on weekends and actually be out and about.

Too bad the weather has been so weird lately. Super hot, then torrential downpours. Humidity at like 100%.

But, we got a few glimpses of nice weather over the weekend.

Steve's in my spot. Railings should be up before Steve goes back to work on Thursday.

Mila had her BFF over to play. I'm SO HAPPY that they have the same second grade teacher this year! Their first grade teacher put in a request to put them together, so I'm super grateful they made it happen.

I also went out and checked on the garden.

Peppers, corns, jalepenos and zucchini. Ava was VERY proud of her sweet corn. 

We got one "normal" looking one and two others were a little weird. One was so bare that I threw it out. I want to try a bunch of rows next year! They were fun to grow. 

Our daycare had a "family fun day" at a local bowling alley.
