7

My Bubba turned 7 years old yesterday!

I think she had a great day.

We started her morning off a little rough because the Tooth Fairy forgot to stop in (FUUUUUCK).

But we got her moods lifted when she realized it was her birthday and we had presents waiting for her!

I made all her favorite breakfast foods: oatmeal, breakfast potatoes, bacon, fruit

There's something about this little scrunchy nose face that I love. She got an Ice Cream Slime Kit.

She slept with this cool Pop-It toy. I thought it'd be a cool way to learn Math.

She also got this fun eraser-making kit from Aunt Lisa and her family.

Since she's not quarantined, she was able to go to school and I also got to volunteer to make an ornament craft with her class.

I think she was very excited to have me in her classroom, meeting some of her friends. There were only 15 kids - 6 were quarantined.

When we finished up with the crafts, I decided to bring both girls home early with me. Since...just because.

We usually do a celebratory dinner for birthdays, if that's what the birthday person wants. Ava chose Applebees.

Sidenote: our Applebees did a fantastic job with our very specific food allergies and we were very grateful and happy for the experience.

We ended the night with a move "Little Mermaid 2", popcorn and hot cocoa with marshmallows.

I can't believe my baby is 7! It has gone by incredibly fast. I can't believe it.

She is still a firecracker with big emotions. She's a little boss lady with a hilarious sense of humor. She's smart as a whip and keeps me on my toes for sure. This one reminds me a lot of myself and that scares the living SHIT out of me.

Love you Boobie Face.
