Working Out - 100 Weeks Into My Fitness Journey (!!!)

In the words of Pam Hupp:

WOAH, WOAH, WOAH.

I can't believe it, folks!

ONE HUNDRED weeks down???

What the actual fuck???

I can't believe I did it! And I'm continuing to do it!

This has truly become my lifestyle now and I really can't imagine what my life was life before focusing on my health and fitness.

April 18 #bootygains

I'm continuing to work on my legs and glutes - the changes I'm seeing is noticeable and I'm loving it! My pants definitely fit differently.

I'm weighing in around 117lbs (so about 5lbs up from last summer).

I'm working on maybe cutting another couple of pounds, but I'm not like hyper focused on it.

I felt very comfortable (and strong) when we went to the waterpark.

When Steve asks me for help with things, it's awesome that I can actually help him.

It's flattering when Steve asks me to lift or do something that might seem a little out of my reach, and then I can do it! And his thinking that I can do it just empowers me.

We are in MAY!! It's finally May.

For some reason it just feels better to say we're in May.

Each week seems to be going by quicker and quicker. It seems that that starts to happen when the weather breaks and you start to ENJOY the outside.

I'm still going strong in terms of lifting 4ish days a week. Rotating in yoga and core 1-2 times per week.

I'm sticking in around the 116-117 lbs area. My diet is still pretty off and on and I'm struggling to find the discipline when it comes to food. I'm not eating like shit - but I'm not counting MACROS or anything. Still trying to be mindful of my protein intake and all that.

Warmer weather means shakes are in my future! That will surely help.

That being said, I have to force myself to remember that the number on the scale really doesn't matter.

Here's a good side by side.

The pic on the left is from Summer of 2021 and I was weighing in at 112lbs. The pic on the right is from yesterday, so just about 11 months difference. I weighed in at 117 yesterday (May 2). So 5lbs difference from left to right.

I can absolutely tell you that my legs/butt have gotten bigger. I have been focusing on them and doing legs/glutes 2 times a week. I literally barely did legs last year because THEY SUCK. I can barely walk - don't even talk to me about sitting on the toilet lol - after doing legs.

I don't have a DUMP by any means, but muscle is building, I can tell you that. When I clench my butt? Rock hard. LOL.
May 2

May 8. I have never, and I mean NEVER had a butt. Always flat. Like a wall. So any roundness I see is just amazing.

Not the best comparison pic, but my butt is definitely rounder this year. I'm also up 5lbs from the pic on the left.

Here's to the next 100 weeks!!
