Halloween Fun!

Last year we accidentally drove by a property that had a TON of cool Halloween props out. Steve went and chatted with the homeowner, who told him that other than the skeletons and other plastic things, he actually handmade everything else. The witch hat roofs, the trees (made out of styrofoam), the wagons, etc. Very, very cool!

This year, it was even bigger. They (husband and wife team?) had a corn maze and a ton of props along the way. They told us when it's dark, it's much scarier. During the day, it's totally G-rated.

These are the trees made out of styrofoam. There were so many of them!

It's totally free to walk around, although they do ask for donations to walk through the corn maze. We donated before we even saw the sign - we love stuff like this and realize that these people literally do it for no money. Lights are on at night and through the whole season!

And then he tears it all down and starts on his Christmas decorations.

I love that this has become one of our family traditions.
