COVID 19 - WFH Day 2

My plans for Day 2 changed pretty rapidly.

I was planning to stay home with the kids again and get some work done (hopefully).

I created schedules for both of them.

But.

I had a few conference/video calls today.

I'm presenting to prospective clients.

So I decided to bring the girls to my mom's house.

At first I was hesitant.

But after talking with Steve and my mom, we deemed it was OK.

They've spent time with her every 3-4 days for the last 6 weeks. So they've all been exposed.

I just had to have quiet today.

And yesterday, during our "work" time, Ava thought that "being quiet" meant whispering.

So she whisper-shouted at me to:
- Get her a snack
- Get her water
- Help her get grapes (and CUT THEM UP PLEASE!)
- Her socks were twisted and it was annoying her.
- Help her color

So, I dropped them off this morning.

Then stopped at the school to pick up Mila's Chromebook and materials.

Then I did my work.

I texted this to Steve telling him I'm ready for my calls.

Followed by this one. Definitely not putting on real pants.

Me and my work BFF Jenny. We're about to pitch!
(Notice the hand sanitizer in the upper left of the pic)

I'm grateful I have the means to work from home and not lose any pay. I can't say it's easy, but it's tolerable.
