We've read books to the girls every single night of their lives.
We started with Mila as a teeny, tiny, infant.
It was just our routine.
And I absolutely loved it.
I still love it.
I cherish those moments when they are snuggled up all comfy, cozy ready for a story.
As they get older, I'm enjoying sharing the books I enjoyed as a kid.
They have longer attention spans and can keep up.
So, finally, I ordered a couple of my absolute favorites.
We read halfway through Matilda in the first sitting.
Mila loves it.
Ava was kinda, sorta listening, but sitting for 30 solid minutes wasn't super easy for her.
Anyway.
Mila and I could snuggle on the couch legit forever reading.
May as well, during this unprecedented time!
The TV has been on a lot more than usual, since we've been home so much.
But I'm getting so sick of it.
And I LOVE TV.
But it's been nice to have it off and enjoy reading.
It feels good.
We're almost done and will be starting The B.F. G. next.
Can't wait!
