I'm one of the lucky ones and am able to conduct my work from home.
When Steve isn't home, it's REALLY FUCKING HARD.
When he's home, he really does a great job of taking control and letting me focus and get as much work done as I can, knowing that when he's NOT there, it'll be more difficult for me to be productive.
Anyway.
I know I've complained a lot about how hard it's been and how stressed out I am.
Then mornings like this morning happened and I got grounded.
And I started to appreciate the fact that I get to be home with my kids.
I got up around my "normal" time when Steve is home.
7am.
I put makeup on (I had a lot of meetings today!)
I get my coffee made.
I make the pigs their breakfast.
If they pigs aren't awake yet, I get going with work.
As I settled in this morning, I heard giggling.
Lots and lots of giggling.
I couldn't help but smile.
Got up and went to see what they were up to at 8am.
Listening to them laugh and giggle and play as soon as they wake up just makes my heart happy.
