It Felt Normal

I took a day of PTO on Friday.

We spent some time running errands.

We told the girls that if the playground wasn't TOO busy, we could stop there quickly.

While there were people there, it wasn't overly packed for being such a nice day.

There were only two other kids playing on the playground so we opted to let the girls play as long as they kept their distance from the other kids.

We didn't make them wear masks.

I will never take living by the lake for granted.

They were so happy to be able to play on the playground at the park. I can't blame them. It was lovely.

People were respectful - social distancing for sure and several people wearing masks.

We immediately used hand sanitizer once we were done on the playground.

We are continuing to weigh our risks and stay on top of guidelines. We maintain social distance guidelines when out in public and other than our close friend and family, we are NOT gathering.

I rarely take the girls to the store still - there's too much stuff to touch.

But, sometimes we don't have a choice and we do our best.

The girls were eager to get into the pool after running errands.

Still gotta finish that railing...

We had this epic throw with Ava. LOL.

Miss Thang.

Wearing my cover up and being a goof.

She legit came outside like this and was like "I'm ready"

Now it's time to start packing for vacation!
