Happy Easter! (A little late)

Since my surgery was the day after Easter, we opted to keep things low key. My anxiety was through the ROOF.

Of course I did Easter Baskets, because, DUH.

I am not one to go overboard on Easter. To be honest, we're not religious, so it's not about Jesus to us. Neither Steve nor myself were raised religiously.

Anyway.

In their baskets, they each got: fun fruit shaped lollipops, egg bubblegum, LOL Doll candy, Starburst, Smarties, a slime kit, and a summer outfit (shirt and shorts).

Then we hid 16 eggs in the house for them to look for.

See the egg??

We hung out for the rest of the morning and just let the kids chill and eat their candy and play with their slime.

After lunch we went over to Steve's parents' house to visit with them for a little bit. After that, we stopped at my mom's house and ate dinner with my mom and sister. The girls were spending the night since my surgery was the next morning, so we did hugs and kisses and headed home.

It was a wonderful Easter spent with family. Just how I like it.
