Or, maybe it's that he makes bad decisions and it causes headaches.
Now, I'm not talking about BIG bad decisions.
Just little ones.
Little ones that are super inconvenient.
Running out of gas?
Happens all the time.
One time, his mom asked him to get her food from McD's.
He drove there in the rain (with Shelby, his Rottie in the car) and ran out of gas.
Mind you, McD's is like a mile from his mom's house. So, not far.
He runs out of gas on the side of the road.
Needs to walk.
Shelby has no collar or leash.
He uses his belt.
Walks in the rain, with the McD's, and his dog.
Rain causes the McD bag to fail and break through the bottom.
So he needs to finish walking home, no McD's and a soaking wet dog.
And his car is still on the side of the road with no gas.
And he's fine about it.
Like WHAT?
I'd likely just drive off a bridge at that point and call it a day.
So Wednesday night we were driving to bring the girls to my mom's house for a couple of nights. And we were using the opportunity to swap her winter wheels for her regular wheels.
So my truck is loaded up.
Kids, tires, everything.
About 20 minutes into our ride, Ava calls out that it's taking a while to get there (we hadn't hit that time yet, but funny she brought it up).
Steve admits that he missed a turn.
So now we're going the long way. Like, 15 minutes completely out of the way.
(Because gas is cheap).
Anyway.
I'm not sure what was going through his mind when he decided to go around someone turning left.
And drive directly into a fucking pot hole the size of a sink hole.
Destroyed my rim |
Fucking donut. On My truck. Of course. |
The rest of the drive is completely silent.
I'm just so pissed.
Why did you miss the turn to begin with? If you hadn't gone this far out of the way, we never would've been in this position.
UGH.
But, I know Steve and he will fix it as soon as possible.
One more thing.
I had to run last-minute errands the next couple of days.
I get out to my truck to you know, get going on all the things.
And see this:
So not only did he destroy my rim (and ergo, we need to BUY A NEW ONE), he left my truck on E.
And then he drove his (perfectly intact, full gas tank) truck to work.
