Truck is packed and we're ready to go!
We met up with our friends about 30 minutes outside of our destination and stopped for lunch.
That's our other friend, towing their jet ski
Launching the boat
The water was warm and incredibly clear!
Our friends' 4 beautiful boys. (Within a span of 3.5 years. Yep, there's a set of twins in there.). These boys are the most polite, well-mannered boys I've ever met. Wait till I post about my new BF, Frank. The second boy. My heart. (He's the one in the back with the stars and stripes life vest).
We made it to our condo! This is legit the "backyard".
I can't with these kids. The oldest of the bunch is 11. The youngest are 5.
Looking so old here. My BABY.
The boat was docked right outside our back door. Amazing.
I wonder what she's thinking about...
The kids absolutely loved fishing. They were definitely biting!
My Bubba. Before her skin went to absolute shit. You can see the beginnings of it on the inside of her elbow :(
She was a TROOPER! Even though she was itchy, she managed to have a great time and did minimal complaining...until night time that is. Holy hell we didn't sleep at all.
The storm started to roll in
After the storm passed, we took a beautiful evening cruise.
This girl LOVED it.
Two gorgeous swans
We went back to the condo and relaxed and hung out until bedtime. I think the kids went to bed around 10:30 or so, and the adults maybe around 11:30pm.
Just when Steve and I were heading to bed, Ava was screaming for us. This was the start of her horrible skin irritations for the rest of the trip. Poor kiddo.
The rest of the kids zonked out completely - 5 kiddos shared a room with two twin-over-full bunk beds, Ava slept with me and Steve and Paige slept with Nick.
