We're Crazy and We Know It

We leave for our vacation in just over a week.

But our friends are just crazy and insane....

They already booked next year's vacation.

Y'all. 

It sounds ridiculous, but here's the thing. 

There are 14 of us. 

Not a lot of places can hold all of us.

We like to go during the July 4th holiday.

Almost all places require a 7 day stay during the prime summer months (there's just nothing like Summertime in NY, amiright?)

The place we're staying at this year is right in town. 3 story condo. The same place from the first year we went, back in 2020.

It's only meant to hold 10 of us, so we'll be a bit cramped. Kids will likely be on top of each other.

But for 3 nights, we'll make it work. 

For next year, though, our friends found this house. 

It's fucking incredible.

It can hold all of us + some. 

It's fucking gorgeous.

It's brand spanking new, too.

Built in 2018.

It's got a HUGE yard for all the kids.

We are there for 7 straight days.

And we are SO excited. 

The house is so big we won't feel cramped and we'll be there for quite a bit longer so we can spread out and some people can do boat stuff, while some stay back, etc.

This lawn...I mean really. 

COME ON. See that bench at the end of the dock? That's where you'll find meeeee! And obviously enough dock space for the two boats and one JetSki we will have. 

What I'm also excited about is that now that we're "in with the owner" for this timeframe, it's likely we can continue to book this house for the same week each year. That's the goal at least. If we like it. 

Less than a year away already! 

Steve thinks we're all crazy and can't even think about it. LOL.
